Limbury Ward

Limbury is a suburb of Luton, in the Luton district, in the ceremonial county of Bedfordshire, England, and was formerly a village before Luton expanded around it. The area is roughly bounded by Bramingham Road to the north, Marsh Road to the south, Bramingham Road to the west, and Catsbrook Road, Runfold Avenue, Grosvenor Road, Bancroft Road and Blundell Road to the east.

Wards

This area is often overlooked by the current council as it is deemed to be a wealthy area with high home ownership levels. However we know that there are a lot of elderly people in the area who now lack the infrastructure that other areas are given. It is a shame that the Labour council do not see fit to provide any social amenities for this area as they do for other wards in the town.

Buses to the hospital do not exist, so the ill, infirm or elderly who do not drive need to get a bus to town then back out to the hospital.

Can that be right? One of the first issues we will be tackling will be for better bus links.

The environment is important, issues of littering should be addressed, and (although thankfully not a major problem) fly tipping. Let us keep the parks in a good state so that we may all enjoy them, the children with the play area, the dog walkers (which include our members), the teens who often congregate there and everyone else who pass through the park.
