Phil Turner for Round Green

Phil Turner

On Thursday 6 May 2021, you will be able to vote for a new councillor to represent Round Green.

If I am fortunate enough to be elected as your Councillor, I will aim to work tirelessly to defend our town's services. The Labour-run Luton Council has demonstrated it is out of touch with the people of Luton. Round Green needs a councillor who will defend its services and fight for the interests of the people.

I oppose the Green Waste Tax on bin collections and will oppose all attempts to build on green sites in our town. The Labour-run council have recently approved developments in Wandon Park and we cannot have that happening in Round Green or in wider Luton.

Round Green needs a councillor who will support the people, represent their views and stand up for the local community. I have the skills, knowledge and passion to help Round Green. I hope to count on your support on election day.

I have extensive experience in supporting people to resolve issues, leading groups and communicating with large audiences. This is why my key priorities are to work closely with community groups, to work with Bedfordshire Police to tackle drug dealing and anti-social behaviour, and to oppose any increases to Council Tax.

I hope I can count on your support on Thursday 6 May.

Yours sincerely,
