Shakaina Khan for High Town

Shakaina

On Thursday 6 May 2021, you will be able to vote for a new councillor to represent High Town.

If I am fortunate enough to be elected as your Councillor, I will aim to work closely with Bedfordshire Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner to help tackle the causes of crime in High Town. Our residents deserve to be safe and I will work to support victims and the law-abiding citizens of High Town.

I oppose the Green Waste Tax on bin collections and will oppose all attempts to build on green sites in our town. The Labour-run council has recently approved developments in Wandon Park and we cannot have that happening in High Town or in wider Luton.

High Town needs a councillor who will support the people, represent their views and stand up for the local community. I have the skills, knowledge and passion to help High Town. I hope to count on your support on election day.

I have extensive experience in supporting people to resolve issues, leading groups and communicating with large audiences. This is why my key priorities are to work closely with community groups, to work with Bedfordshire Police to tackle drug dealing and anti-social behaviour, and to oppose any increases to Council Tax.

I hope I can count on your support on Thursday 6 May.

Yours sincerely,

Shakaina Khan

Conservative Candidate for High Town

Promoted by Mark Lavery of 18a Leagrave Road, Luton, LU4 8HZ, on behalf of Shakaina Khan of 18a Leagrave Road, Luton, LU4 8HZ.
