Margaret has recently retired as a Public Health Specialist with a particular interest in the population aspects of cancer. She has been involved with local charities including ten years as volunteer and Chairman of Stepping Stones Luton, offering support to families who are in difficulty.  

She has fought local and European elections (with a view to protecting the interests of the United Kingdom), has been a school governor and run an independent company providing public health analysis and advice to the NHS and local councils.  She is also a bid writer for charities and community groups seeking to bring more funds into Luton to enable work with the poorer groups in our society.

He has lived in Luton all his life, and for 25 years has run a successful driving school business in the town. He has been sitting as a Luton magistrate for the last 18 years, and serves both as a local school governor and as a lay judge in the County Court.
