Heather Baker

For many years I have been actively involved in local affairs. I am now looking for a worthwhile and rewarding way to help the local community in Limbury by making a difference to the quality of your lives and prospects. As your chosen Conservative candidate and staunch Brexiteer, I believe an effective councillor requires commitment and hard work and I am ready for this challenge. I know that I can make a difference by standing for what I believe
in by representing your neighbourhood at local government level. As a committed Christian I am honest in all my dealings.

I have lived in the Limbury area for 49 years and have been Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator for 15 years and past Chair of Luton Neighbourhood Watch. Also, for the past 15 years I have liaised with Luton Borough Council in organising street clean-ups with neighbours in my street. What matters to me in Limbury Ward are environmental issues, youth apprenticeship schemes, youth service activities, improving support services for the elderly, safer roads/parking, ensuring that local businesses can thrive.

Work: Lifestyle Manager - Nursing Home; own Family History Research Business.

Hobbies: Playing the piano/organ, learning the guitar, keeping Family Journal/Family Tree
