Round Green & Stopsley Branch

Round Green & Stopsley Branch

of the Luton Conservative Association

The R G & S Branch was formed on 24 June 2016 with 11 members and has grown to 24 members within the first six weeks.

Its objective is to sustain and promote the objects and values of the Conservative Party in the wards of both Round Green & Stopsley, to provide an effective campaigning organisation in these wards, to secure the return of Conservative Candidates in elections and to help raise the necessary funds to achieve these objectives.

The Branch meets quarterly at the Luton Conservative Club, 587 Hitchin Road, Stopsley, Luton, LU2 7UN. Each year we elect a Chairman to oversee the Branch, a Deputy Chairman Political, who organises our political and campaigning events and a Deputy Chairman Membership & Fundraising, who looks after the membership and organises our fundraising events. We also elect an officer for each of the Round Green & Stopsley wards and a Branch Secretary. The Branch also has a committee which consists of the Officers of the Branch and a number of elected members.

The Branch selects candidates to be put forward to the LCA Executive to stand as councillors for these wards.

If you are interested in joining this Branch please contact the Chairman, Cllr. John Baker JP: email john.baker@luton.gov.uk.    Tel. 07809 100379.
